Event Production, Digital PR, Social Media, Twittering, Online Events, Consulting, Training and Coaching
When South Pacific Image, Inc. was launched in 1988, we were an event production company, staging large corporate events, and producing content for those events. In the ensuing years we have enhanced our services to support our clients in an ever-expanding ways. While we still produce events, presentations, provide speech writing and speech coaching, we have expanded the nature of the events we produce, and the support technologies we provide for them. The list below will grow, and is already not complete... if for no other reason that you might not have told us what the greatest challenge you face is, and how you'd like us to help you with it.
Meetings and Events are, and always have been an important part of our business. We have been engaged by most of our meeting clients for a significant time, some dating back to the start of our company. Over the years we have had the opportunity to work with a number of excellent companies and have expanded our services to embrace their needs. We provide a full range of event services, both in developing creative and in managing projects. The scope of what we do has grown to include conference planning, site coordination, content development and production, product introduction planning, scenic, lighting and AV design and all phases of the actual execution of the event. In recent years we have increasingly engaged Social Media in promoting events, creating interest in them in in starting conversations about what the attendees would like to get out of them. While much of the content we develop for our clients is for internal use, and is subject to strict confidentiality requirements, case studies of some of the events we have undertaken for our clients can be viewed by clicking the links below, or by using the navigation tool at left.
Sometimes just having a good idea or a great opportunity is not enough. New projects by their very nature may need more internal resources than a company can spare,or may simply benefit from the service of an experienced project development team. We can help you develop a project, craft a proposal or plan a series of events.
Experienced Project Management can make the difference between success and... alternatives. We have been providing Site Surveys, Stage Management, Theatrical Direction, Technical Direction, Local Crew Management, Vendor Selection and Supervision, and other valuable event related services for events for decades We have worked all over the world, and managed multi-city projects and events for tens of thousands of attendees. We are here (or where ever you need us to be) to help you.
We have supported or clients efforts in traditional public relations for a number of years, managing press conferences, press releases, and in developing corporate image collateral. Our general PR strategies include telling the client what they need to hear instead of what they want to hear. We feel that the best “PR strategy” needs to be followed-up with the client’s good products/services or else it’s all a vain and wasted effort that harms everyone’s reputation.
Social media has become one of the cornerstones underpinning our business, as we have found it, as we have embraced it, to be an incredibly powerful and cost effective tool for directly engaging not only our clients’ customers, but also the major influencers of those customers. In utilizing and optimizing our social media efforts, we have adapted our ability to learn and adapt to our clients’ corporate values, cultures market specific imperatives into an ability to adapt to your target audiences values and communications patterns and in turn to translate that into very effective work on behalf or your brand.
The recent economic downturn has turned many businesses upside down, and the travel-intensive business meeting market has been particularly hard-hit. We think this may be bad news for the hotels and travel operators in the long term, because as companies have had to cut costs, spending on extravagant travel was one of the first things to go. This has happened twice before in recent years, but this time there is a really viable alternative to the off-site meeting that we believe may bring a paradigm shift in the thinking of corporate communications and event planners.
This is why you should talk to us:
Our training philosophy is very simple; anyone can learn anything... if we teach it to them. It is not our client's responsibility to learn, it is out responsibility to teach it to them. Your people already have plenty to do. It is our job to learn their strengths, their priorities and commitments, and then to craft a training program that will work for them...and then to follow through and ensure that it does.
Being able to address a large group is an important skill to anyone wishing to advance in their career. Being able to speak to an audience of any size, and to be confident and persuasive is the mark of a leader.
Sometimes we get the opportunity to practice our craft and do some public good at the same time. We have been able over the years to work with some outstanding 501c-3 charities over the years and do just that. While these organizations seldom launch a product or send their employees of on incentive travel junkets (not that anyone does much of THAT anymore), they do a lot of the same type of events that we have developed so much expertise in, working for our corporate clients. We have produced national events, presentations, videos, golf tournaments, fashion shows, auctions, training events and awards banquets for these organizations to the same standards that we bring to corporate events. When an organization relies on donations to survive, public image is a very important issue, and regardless of how much good an organization does, there always manage to be a few people set on tarnishing their public image. The same techniques in reputation defense, defensive search engine optimization and social media opinion tracking that have worked so well for our corporate clients, provide the same value when applied to these organizations.
