Bringing a Concept to Life

Sometimes just having a good idea or a great opportunity is not enough. New projects by their very nature may need more internal resources than a company can spare,or may simply benefit from the service of an experienced project development team. At South Pacific Image we have been building projects from simple ideas for years, and have enormous resources available to help you develop, or test the feasibility of an idea. This may manifest in putting together a new conference, pitching a client for business, testing potential public sentiment to a new product or to a business expansion. We are often asked to provide our expertise to help with a proposal or to design a program. We can assemble a team to help you bring your concept to life, and we will do so for an agreed upon, set fee, with no commitment on your part to involve us in the execution of the project. We would of course be very willing to help you with the execution of any effort, and we would certainly be intimately knowledgeable with the scope of the plan, but there would be no expectation on our part that you do so.

Project Management

Managing a project well, all the details of the project can be as much a key to its success as good creative and a strong message. Providing the infrastructure to allow an event to succeed is something that we bring to many of the projects in which we are involved, and these among other services are available to you and your project:

  • Perform an on-site survey of any facility in the world and document our findings as they apply to your event
  • The creation and adaptation and distribute scale room drawings
  • Creating and managing the conversation with all involved parties detailing the project and its requirements
  • Coordinate presentation requirements for presenters, content producers and graphic production services as necessary
  • Contract or manage scenic design services and monitoring of pre-show construction progress, installation and removal
  • Lighting design including bid specifications and monitoring pre-show activity
  • Coordinating electrical and rigging specifications with the facility and sub-contractors
  • Selection, vetting and payroll for local crew
  • Develop technical specifications for all AV, video, lighting, audio and staging.
  • Issue RFP's for services, select and manage all vendors to budget and schedule
  • On-site technical production schedules
  • On-site technical production management
  • Coordination of breakout rooms, scheduling of support personnel, equipment and rehearsals
  • Work with local Fire Marshall in gaining approval for safety/seating/technical plans
  • Onsite rehearsal management, including coaching of presenters, and theatrical blocking
  • Create and maintain show flow of all elements and distribute to all departments
  • Provide all stage management services and personnel for rehearsals and show
  • Direct venue security
  • Outfit and maintain venue communications, Internet resources, IP telephony and production office

    We have been working with the Orange County Marketplace to develop a plan to improve their visibility, generate positive public opinion about them and help the community through an ongoing jobs program that they would host on an ongoing basis The campaign we have developed will include a strong press outreach program, extensive use of social media and SMS messaging as well as a strong, direct outreach to local and national employers to solicit their participation. Still in the pre-launch phase this is a strong example of how we can help with the development of a project.
