When South Pacific Image, Inc. was launched in 1991, we were an event production company, staging large corporate events, and producing content for those events. The team to do this was, and is still led by David Elliott. After college, David began his professional career working at an audio visual rental staging company, AVHQ, which grew while he was there from a small but ambitious local concern to a major player in national event staging. During his 10+ years there David had the opportunity to produce over 5,000 hours of live television and to manage thousands of events for some of America's finest companies. David led the team that introduced the Macintosh Computer, the B2 Spirit for Northrop, and produced the Drexel Burnham Lambert High Yield and Convertible Bond Conference for five consecutive years. Over the years he had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of presenters, from professional motivational speakers, politicians, seasoned CEOs and neophyte middle managers. David even on one occasion ran a presentation for the Pope… it was a bit surprising to get an enthusiastic “thumbs up” from him as he went on-stage!

The lessons learned and professional contacts gained during those early years provided the basis of the formation of South Pacific Image, which has grown over the years from a traditional production agency, into an agile, new media resource which is configured to bring the best and brightest in the industry to work to helping our clients grow their businesses. We have the advantage of having done most everything in the industry. We are familiar with all of the tools, and most of the tricks. Our network of resources, talented professionals and trusted industry partners, is second to none, which allows us to build teams specifically suited to ensure our clients success. We provide a balance between supervision and creative license, and move quickly to remove any challenges they encounter. The results are consistent, easily repeatable and yet always exceed our clients expectations... all while remaining within their budgets. This simple strategy has delivered a long list of happy clients, and many of our client relationships have lasted for decades.

While we have always embraced technology as an important tool in what we do, we understand that it is not a means unto itself. Online technologies connect us better, allow us to work with our clients and our partners globally, and allow us to engage our customers on a much more targeted level... but at the end of the day, it is still all about bringing solutions to our customers that meet or anticipate their needs. We have embraced using Social Media in recent years not because we find it to be an irresistibly "cool" technology, but because we saw early on that it was an incredible tool for bringing results to our clients that were Better, Faster, Cheaper. As companies seek ways to communicate more effectively in a post recessionary world, the ability to deliver an increasing range of online services and purely online event options has allowed us bring our clients' message to their employees, partners and customers more quickly, to a wider and more specific audience, with more measurable results, more often, and with much more interaction with the audience... all for less. When the delivery medium is essentially free, as it is with online and social media technologies, more is more... but it doesn't really cost more. We like that, our clients seem to like it too.
