In
February of 2000 we provided graphics production and presentation support
for Taco Bell’s first National Training Meeting attended by 1800 company
and franchise restaurant managers. This was an event that attempted to bring
the results usually gained in training groups of 20, to this enormous assemblage.
By creatively applying technology… large video screens around the room,
wireless cameras, interactive graphics and dozens of wireless microphones,
an “intimate” classroom for 1800 was created.
The
client saved millions of dollars in training costs, and the meeting has evolved
into "Spring Training" an annual event which, much like spring training
for baseball teams, provides an opportunity for the team to get together and
renew their skills for the year ahead. These events inclue general sessions,
breakouts, and even hands-on new product training.
